A few weeks ago I went to a fantastic style class and picked up so many top tips! If you want to read all about it take a look at my rundown of the day. Anyway, something that has really stuck in my mind is the fact that you should look and feel amazing no matter what- that includes your ‘comfy’ clothes.
We all have them don’t we? Those baggy bottoms and hoodies that we sling on when we need a sofa day and a big bowl of icecream. Well one of the points of the day was that even those clothes should make us look and feel great. So, if you like to wear jogging bottoms, buy the most flattering jogging bottoms you can find!
With that in mind, I have turned my attention to my own ‘comfy’ clothes. One thing I always like to wear around the house is a dressing gown. I love to snuggle up on the sofa and wrap it around myself, it is a bit like a security blanket for me. The dressing gown I have been wearing for the last few years is old and not the most attractive of items- to put it simply, when I wear it I look like a frump.
I had never thought about it before but even my dressing gown should make me feel and look good. So, here is my new dressing gown…
Isn’t it cute? It is a Blackspade one, a brand that I really love at the moment! It is so soft and makes me feel good when I put it on, which is the most important thing!
