Help for Heroes is a national network for our wounded and their families. They aim to inspire and support those who have fought for our country and make sacrifices on our behalf.
The war in Afghanistan may be over, but for those who have suffered life-changing injuries, their battles are just beginning.
To help raise money to aid the important work they do each and every day, Help for Heroes are holding a ‘Bake for Heroes’ fortnight between 18th April – 4th May. Whether you take a cake to work and get donations for each slice or hold a cake sale, every lovely treat really will make a difference.
I wanted to get involved with this event and so am joining in with the Cook with Toddlers baking event. Annabel is kindly opening up her home to toddlers and will be making cakes with each child who wishes to take part. Both of my girls love to bake and so we are really looking forward to having fun while raising money at the same time!
Obviously not everyone will be able to make it to her house so Annabel has thought of a great way for everyone to get involved! She is offering one of her fantastic toddler friendly recipes in return for a small donation. You can then cook at home with your little one and upload the photos to the Cook with Toddlers Facebook page.
If you want to get involved with this great cause then head over to the Just Giving page for more information! I can’t wait to see all of your baking photos!
