Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. I co-host this linky with the lovely Jenna (Tiny Footsteps) so please do remember to go over to her post and say hi! We want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciate the little things in life and have happy days.
So it is Friday night I am writing this and I have just gone to see which post was my favourite and realised I didn’t finish commenting!!!!! Not been on the ball at all this week so I am so sorry! Anyway, have caught up now and chosen my featured blogger…..
I really enjoyed reading about Clare’s week over at Mudpie Fridays. Her photo of Monkey in the bluebell wood was gorgeous and her happiest moment had me wishing I was right there in that moment!
Over to my week…
Out & About
I feel like we have barely been at home this week, we have had so many trips here there and everywhere! We had to go to town on Monday to get the girls’ photos done for their passports, it was so funny as Little G is so used to smiling for photos and couldn’t quite understand why the lady was asking her to look serious. Little L looked like a rabbit in headlights the whole time and as a result they both look like escaped convicts!! Ha!
Wednesday was a really fun day as we went along to a charity bake event for Help for Heros. Both girls had an absolutely fantastic time making cakes and it has made me want to buy each of them their own tools so they can each have a bowl etc when we do our own baking.

Little G and I went to London yesterday for a Mothers Meeting event in Regent Street. We had a lovely surprise seeing Heledd (Running in Lavender) and Bonita (Mama’s VIB) so was nice having familiar faces there! G and I are becoming pros at hopping on trains these days, so nice to spend time together.
Fun at Home
Due to our busy schedule and the fact Little G is back at pre-school we haven’t been very good at doing our themed week. We have done a couple of activities but it will mean our next update will be a 2 week overview (just so we fill it with lovely activities).
The loveliest thing we have done is learn to sew, Little G has never done it before but took to it straight away. The big reveal will be a week Monday- you will be impressed!
Time for Me
I hopped on a train last Saturday, all the way to Birmingham! I managed to get a ticket to Blogcamp at 10pm the night before and so surprised everyone by turning up! I met so many amazing people and will be writing about it in the next couple of days so keep an eye out for that. It was so nice to sit on a train and do something spur of the moment, just for me!
My Happiest Moment
We found out this week that Little G has a place in our preferred nursery in September. The fact she has got into that one bodes well for next year’s Reception intake as it is part of the same school. Whole thing is so stressful!!
Next week I would like to..
Start my new linky! Woo hoo!! Keep an eye out on Wednesday for something fun! 🙂 xx

So glad your littlest got into your preferred nursery. Will the girls be going to the same school at the same time? Wish I could have been there last weekend - would have been nice to catch up with everyone xx

I get confused when they will be there, I think maybe G will be in year 2 when L starts reception but am not 100% sure. x
