A lot of people would rather put off cleaning their house until it really needs it, and then find that a deep clean is even worse to do. Instead, keep your home sparkling clean with these quick tips and easy hacks.

Buff Surfaces With Olive Oil
Olive oil is not only good for cooking with, but it can help you keep the house clean too.
You can use olive oil to clean stainless steel, like appliances or pans. Put the oil on a soft cloth and gently rub in circles to buff off any dirt or fingerprints.
Clean The Garbage Disposal With Lemons Or Limes
The garbage disposal can get really dirty, for obvious reasons, so you need to keep it clean so it doesn’t smell bad in your kitchen.
To clean it and prevent blockages, use fresh lemon or lime. Cut the fruit into quarters, run the water, and drop the quarters into the disposal one by one.
Remove Carpet Stains With Vodka
Rubbing alcohol, clear vodka, or white wine can be used to shift stains from your carpet.
Blot the stain, then pour the vodka onto it. This is more effective than almost all over-the-counter cleaning products and stain removers.
Eliminate Water Stains With Shaving Cream
If you’re trying to keep your bathroom clean, and are getting annoyed trying to get water stains off the shower door, try shaving cream. Put the shaving cream onto the stains, let it sit for fifteen minutes, and then wipe it away.
Clean The Bath With Baking Soda And Vinegar
Clean the bath is nobody’s favourite job, you can it in ten minutes with this trick. Mix a cup of vinegar and half a cup of baking soda in hot water. Pour this mix into the empty bath, and leave it to sit for five minutes. Fill the tub about a quarter full with hot water and leave it for five more minutes. Empty the bath and rinse.
Use The Same Solution To Clean The Toilet
Mix up the same solution of vinegar and baking soda, and you can use it to clean your toilet. Leave the mixture to soak for a while, then flush the toilet, and wipe the seat.
Get The Toilet Sparkling With Essential Oils
Use essential oils to clean the toilet. Mix one cup of baking soda with 15 drops of tea tree essential oil and 15 drops of lemon or orange essential oil. Tip this into the bowl and leave it for thirty minutes. Scrub the bowl with a brush, and then flush.
Use A DIY Aromatherapy Solution To Shine Up Sinks And Tubs
Mix together baking soda, some drops of lemon and basil essential oils, and some dish soap for a sparkling solution for your bath and sink. Use a sponge to apply the mixture over the whole surface of the bathtub or bathroom sink, and leave it for ten minutes. Rinse it off and the sink or bath will be left looking sparkling clean.
