Blogging has given me…

When I started blogging I never knew how much I would love it! It is now well and truly a part of my life, I am hooked! Something I really didn’t expect though was that I would make some lovely friends along the way. Motherhood can be a lonely place sometimes and you aren’t always able to get out of the house- you find yourself feeling low and have nobody there to understand.

The blogging world has welcomed me with open arms and I feel part of a fantastic community. One person who has been there right from the beginning has been Jenna. We clicked early on and I found myself emailing her when I felt there was nobody else in the world who would understand. Up until a month ago we had never met but would talk every day. We met for the first time at Blogfest but with the madness of it all I didn’t feel like we had properly been able to have a chat.

This weekend we went to Cambridge and had the best time! We walked for miles (must use a map or a sat nav next time!!) and happily chatted the whole time. We has a delicious lunch and I felt as if we had known each other for years! As we sat laughing about this and that I felt so thankful that I started blogging as otherwise I would never have got to know such a lovely lady!
