When I heard that Mark Warner were looking for new ambassadors I knew that I wanted to throw my name into the mix. They have asked families to describe themselves, their likes and dislikes and most importantly what their dream holiday looks like. I love my little family and I hope they will too.
I started this blog to record our memories as a family, to have a diary to keep forever, for the girls to look back on and see how much I love them. Many people have asked why I share it with the world- ‘why not write it privately? Isn’t it weird that everyone can see?’ Well, I don’t see it like that. I share with the world so that people can see what a real family is like. My blog’s tagline is ‘An mother’s honest view on life’ and that is exactly how I write- honestly.
Our family
Mr F and I got married in 2010 and had Little G in 2011 with Baby L completing our little family in 2013. Life is always busy with a 3 year old & a 1 year old and our days are spent going to the park, making a mess masterpieces with glitter or baking cakes! I stay home with the girls while Mr F goes to work, so our weekends are when we have our time together. We have not been on a holiday since the girls were born and so family time tends to get interrupted by real life! There is always something that needs doing and sometimes I feel as though we aren’t enjoying time together as we should.
Time passes so quickly and if we don’t slow down and appreciate the every day then before we know it time will have passed and we will have been too busy rushing around to notice the little things. The things that matter- family.
What does our dream holiday look like?
I have an idea in my head as to what a holiday looks like, it definitely involves sunshine and lots of splashing in the pool. But honestly the biggest thing for me is to create memories- I want my girls to grow up with exciting tales of holidays past. I want them to be able to sit in their class and excitedly tell their teacher that they are off on a plane to play on the beach! I can live without a holiday but my girls can’t, I don’t want them to.
At the beach in a winter coat!
Splashing in the paddling pool
Of course we have been on day trips around Britain, they both love building sandcastles and Little G has been for a dip in the sea. We take them swimming as often as we can but the local chlorinated pool is not quite the same as bathing in the ocean. I want to give my girls the world and I hope Mark Warner can help me show it to them.
As Mark Warner Ambassadors we would enjoy every second of being part of the team, we would create memories together as a family and share them with the world so that families can be inspired to make their own holiday memories.
Are we the family you are looking for?
