The Secret Life Of Pets With Energizer®

Have you seen The Secret Life of Pets yet? We saw it in the summer and watched it again over the weekend. Such a fun movie, the girls find the whole thing hilarious! To celebrate the release of the DVD, Energizer® have a fantastic on-pack competition running – buy a pack of Energizer Max^® or Eco Advanced^TM batteries and fill out their online form. You will then be in with the chance of winning a giant Max, Gidget, Duke or Snowball soft toy!

They have also created the #SecretGardenAdventure Challenge to encourage families to get out and about to have their own adventures. We were sent some brilliant Energizer® products to help us out and I was surprised to see that they make loads of fab lighting equipment – not just batteries!

Kitted out with headlamps and some pretty amazing nigh vision goggles, the girls and I made our way out into the garden to see what we could find! We searched under pots and behind stones to see what animals we could find in the darkness. We also turned off our lights to look up at the night sky, we were really lucky that it was clear that night and we saw loads of stars as well as the remainder of the super moon!

We weren’t sure what we would find but there were so many bugs out and Gracie was very excited to spot a spider on a plant.

They started to get a little cold so we took the adventures indoors. We turned off all of the lights and made shadows on the walls. They aren’t the biggest fans of the dark but they didn’t seem to realise it was dark with the fun they were having with the headlamps and torches!

It was then time to complete their personalised adventure map, documenting what they had found in the garden.

They were also sent some gorgeous fluffy pyjamas from the movie and a cuddly toy each. Lils loves Max and Gracie adores Snowball. My personal favourite is Gidget – she is hilarious!

We are making more of an effort to spend more quality time together as a family and this adventure kit certainly gave us something different to do. All of the gear will come in handy next year when we plan on taking the girls camping for the first time – I can’t wait!
