Happy Days: New Friends, Baby Cuddles & Scatter Cushions

This time last week I was in London with a big double bed all to myself (well if you don’t count Wills snuggling up to me of course). We had such a lovely time, just me and him – so much so that we both overslept and almost missed our meeting Saturday morning! Blogfest was tiring but fun, read all about our day here if you fancy it. I am now inspired to make more of my YouTube channel and even made a mini intro if you want to check out my latest video to see it!

This week has been stressful and I am glad it is over. For one reason or another I have been out every single day and I just can’t cope with being so busy. I am much happier when I am at home, just me and the kids, able to get on with housework and keep all my plates spinning. As soon as I get a social life, the house goes to pot and I end up feeling as though all those plates are smashing to the floor.

I am really looking forward to the Christmas holidays as Mr F has booked time off and of course Gracie will be off for 2 weeks. For now though, I am going to have to try and balance having a social life and keeping the house from looking like a pigsty!

What has kept me smiling this week?

– Countryside. If you’ve seen our weekend vlog you’ll know we went on a walk again this week. I am loving it and I want to go every weekend if we can. Any excuse to get wrapped up is ok by me!

– New friends. Gracie has a little boyfriend! Awwwww. He came round to play at the beginning of the week and they had such a lovely time. His mum is lovely and we had a nice chat while they played.

– Lists. I do love a good list don’t you? I am slowly working my way to the bottom of mine and then it’ll be time to shut down the blog for Christmas. Not that I’ll be resting as I am doing Vlogmas this year over on my YouTube channel- can’t wait!!

– Seeing Sian. That’s 2 weeks in a row now I think! I looked after her gorgeous little JJ for the morning and he and Lils played so nicely.

– Being featured. I am thrilled to be featured on the Laura Ashley blog this week with my Christmas living room. I love everything Christmas related so was so excited when they wanted me to spruce up my living room for the season!

– Baby cuddles. Wills is so poorly bless his heart. He’s got a bad cold and I am a bit worried about his chest as he is wheezy. It has meant extra cuddles and him sleeping in our bed for the whole night each night.

– Photoshoots. I love taking photos (you may have noticed..) and the other day I had to take some photos of Wills for a project. While I was snapping away I lost focus for a bit as his beautiful eyes distracted me. This is possibly one of my favourite ever photos I’ve ever taken….

I have a lot more and I think I will print a few out and hang them in his room.

– Shopping with friends. I went out for one little thing and ended up buying a tonne of stuff for the house, including some new cushions and a gorgeous throw. We may have also had a sneaky Maccy D’s!

– Suits. It is my new favourite show on Netflix – have you seen it? Totally in love with Harvey!!

Phew! Busy week – oh I also remembered to dye my hair hurrah!! It is a little dark for my liking but that’ll fade I am sure. At least the greys are gone!!
