Me & Mine: April

This month has flown by once again but I am very pleased to say that I was a little prepared and took my photos a week or so ago. You may have seen some of my bluebell wood photos here and there, I do love them don’t you? (bluebells, not my photos I mean haha!)

We had been to a bluebell wood a few weeks back but they weren’t quite out, so I really wanted to go back and see them in their true beauty. I’m not going to lie, we spent all of 15 minutes in the wood as it was absolutely freezing and none of us were dressed appropriately. I had gone in my new dress to take photos especially for a post and so had bare legs! So, knowing we were there to have a quick look, take some photos and go, we got on with it and enjoyed it as best we could.

How lovely is that? Nature through a child’s eyes. G was right though, so absolutely stunning to see so much purple covering the forest floor.

I am not very trusting when it comes to letting Mr F faff about with my camera, so it always falls to me to set the timer and run back. At almost 6 months pregnant this is quite honestly the funniest thing about our me & mine photo sessions now as I am such a waddler!

This is an outtake from the shoot- I got back just in time as the shot was taken but uh oh – someone is wearing a wig haha!!

Thankfully a kind stranger took pity on me and offered to take the shot. Of course I couldn’t say ‘please take 96 shots for me to choose from’ so I had to make do with just a couple. But my goodness I do love the ones she took. Thank you kind lady!!

The closer we get to baby arriving, the more I absolutely treasure these photos. I am excited to have a 5th member of the family but at the same time I am just loving these photos of the four of us as we are right now. I really must get my act together and print some out to have around the house – I have a plan for my Me & Mine and Siblings photos but time is never on my side!
