Happy Days: Crazy Weather, Time Together and Washing On The Line

Welcome to HappyDays! The idea of this linky is to inspire others to make the best out of every day, to see the happy in the little things. As no matter what, there is always something good in every single day- we just need to take the time to see it. Share your happy posts, Sian and I love to read them!

Right, who is in charge of the weather? We have had monsoons, blazing heat and snow this week – couldn’t be more crazy if it tried!! I will hold my hands up though, I may have mentioned to someone at school that we never seem to get caught out on the school run. Cue a whole week of standing out in the rain waiting for Little G to finish. Doh!

What is on my happy list this week?

– Mr F being home early every day this week. He has been doing overtime as it has been the end of year at work, which has meant lots of bits and bobs to do. That is all submitted now so he is back to normal hours.

– LJ doing a wee on the toilet. She isn’t quite ready to start full on potty training but she is enjoying having a go. You know when she will be ready though don’t you? Yep… August. Haha!

– Taking more time. I am always in a hurry but being in pain has meant I need to slow right down. The photo above was taken on the way to pick G up from school. LJ wanted to pick daisies- so I let her pick daisies.

– Washing on the line. Even if it may have also contributed to the rain and snow. 🙂

– My new maternity pillow helping me with my SPD. If you read my post earlier in the week, you’ll know I have been in pain. The pillow seems to be doing the trick and I have taken lots of other advice on board.

– A lovely afternoon with my friend yesterday. We went for lunch and then had a little look for things for baby. I may have bought him a few new bits. 🙂

– Vlogging. I am really loving it so watch this space for a little more on my YouTube channel.

Once again my mind has gone blank. This week has gone so fast and I am so tired I can barely remember what I did 5 minutes ago, let alone a few days ago!

Have a great weekend!

I’m sorry to hear you are in pain with SPD, I had it in my first pregnancy, but strangely not in my second. I know weird, it should have been the other way round if you read the books!! Take it easy, you have a long way to go, I know it’s not easy with too little ones to look after. This weather is completely madness, I have no clue what to wear in the morning. Have a fab weekend and thanks for hosting x

Glad to hear the pillow is helping a little and that you’ve had some helpful advice. Well done LJ for weeing on the toilet! I was over the moon this week when Max announced he needed a poo – I can’t imagine how I’ll be when he starts showing more signs of being ready! The weather has been crazy, hasn’t it? It looks lovely today, but I’m taking a coat and umbrella out just in case! Have a lovely weekend – thanks for hosting!

Ooooh SPD I remember the pain 🙁 I had it during my twin pregnancy, I did find the pillows helped at bed time. The weather has been crazy hasn’t it, but I will also admit to loving getting the washing out on a couple of days. Hope you have a goood week x

Oh, mama, SPD is an absolute nightmare.
Mine got so bad with my son that there were days when I could barely walk. Wishing you tons and tons of relief. Lay on your side with a hot water bottle between your legs-it gave me so much comfort, as did sleeping with the pillows. Wow, the weather there sounds absolutely insane! I live in southern USA and it’s been hot and sunny here, which I’ve loved! Thanks for hosting #happydayslinky

I must say I am always in a rush but I have been trying to slow down a lot lately and make that family time especially after school xx

Oh no, you’re suffering, that’s rubbish, glad you found a maternity pillow and hope you get a little more sleep. I love daisies, the picture is ace. I think I’d enjoy vlogging but think I need to give blogging a go first! #happydays

Love love love the smell of washing that has dried outside on the line. One of the best bits of summer is being able to get the washing back outside. Takes me back to being a kid when it was my job to bring it in. I was too small to reach the pegs (and was too lazy to use the step) so I used to pull the clothes off the line and watch the pegs fly over the hedge 🙂 #HappyDaysLinky

Ooh yay, another vlogger to watch! I’m going to sub to your channel now – I’ve been vlogging since November 2015.
SPD sounds awful. I had some issues with chronic pain in my last pregnancy, but going to an osteopath regularly sorted it out for me 🙂
