Pregnancy: What I’m Packing In My Hospital Bag

I was so prepared with my ‘what I’m packing for baby‘ post. I think it is because I am so excited to meet him so getting his bits and bobs ready just take me that bit closer to the day he arrives. Now you may be sitting there thinking ‘but you still have 12 weeks left, that is pretty organised…’ and you’d be right. Except this is me we are talking about – someone who is always early for everything! So I am actually surprised it has taken me this long to get sorted – but I am done now. Packed and ready to go!

Now being my third baby I think I have it sussed, I don’t think I have packed anything unnecessary. I do still seem to have a massive bag though – I have watched lots of videos and everyone seems to have these teeny tiny bags. Well not me! Haha!!

So what am I packing in my hospital bag?

– Hospital notes

– Old nightie for labour (although I plan on having a water birth again)

Snacks for labour

– Isotonic drinks

– Cereal bars

– Hair ties

My G7X camera

– Phone charger

– Black towel

Sanex Zero bubble bath

Blackspade maternity nightwear

– Pyjamas from the gorgeous Blackspade

– Breastfeeding bra

– Pants

– Maternity pads

Bennetts Nipple Cream

– Bennetts nipple cream

– Breast pads

– Slippers

– Outfit to go home in

– Hairbrush

– Toothbrush and toothpaste

– Makeup

I’ve vlogged it all if you fancy seeing it all ‘in person’ 🙂

  1. How exciting! Haver you considered lip balm if using gas and air? That was something my midwife recommended to me as it can dry your lips 🙂 xx
