I am one of those people who like to get organised, for any occasion, well in advance. Ever since I found out we were expecting I’ve been busying myself with this and that- all in preparation for baby. It started off with me reading the amazing KonMari book – meaning our house is now completely sorted and tidy ready for another human being to join the family. We had so much junk floating around, there was no way the house could fit baby bits and bobs too. Now we are clutter free and ready for the paraphernalia that comes along with a little one.
Once we found out what we were having I was able to sort out all of the baby things I had been hoarding. As much as I didn’t think we would be having another baby, I find it really difficult to let go ‘just in case’. But, since finding out that we are expecting a boy, all of the pink clothes have been given away to others or to charity. Such a good feeling!
Now, at only 23 weeks you may be thinking I am totally barmy but I have packed baby’s bag for the hospital. It seems like I have a long way to go but I just know that time is whizzing by so fast that before I know it he will be here. Better early than to run out of time completely eh?
I have very kindly be sent a gorgeous babymoov changing bag from the House Of Fraser nursery collection, I absolutely adore it and cannot wait to start using it. For now though, it is going to be my hospital bag for baby’s things – it is very spacious so is perfect for the job.
So what am I packing for baby?
I have made a little video showing you everything I have packed but have listed it below if you prefer seeing things written down.
– Size 1 nappies
– Baby hats
– 3 sleepsuits
– 2 vests
– Muslin cloths
– 2 blankets
Can you think of anything I have missed?

Love the bag! I am also 23 weeks this week but far off packing my hospital bag. Apart from a few baby blankets and clothing items, I've not bought much at all. Big pram purchase looms though :). I am also enjoying purging the house of excess stuff that I don't need! Ruth x

Ooh good luck with the pram purchase- I am hoping to have a pram this time around as we couldn't fit one in our car last time and then with LJ we just had a double. It is fun isn't it?x
