Siblings: January

I am so glad to be joining in with this lovely feature for a second year. It is so lovely to capture moments between my girls and then be able to look back at the end of the year to see how they have changed. When you spend each day with your children you just don’t see those changes do you? Having an online photo album to look back on is just great, something I want to continue for years to come.

I am going to admit right now, I have totally let myself down with regards to taking photos this month. I have been really poorly so far and what with the icy temperatures thrown into the mix it has been difficult to get out and about. But to be honest, it got to this evening and it was only the fact I saw a post on the Siblings FB page that I remembered to take any photos at all.

As a result, the photos have had to be edited into black and white to hide the awful yellow light from my living room lights. If anyone knows of any good lightbulbs please do let me know as these drive me mad!

They are still the very best of friends, nothing much has changed since my last Siblings update. They are so cute together, the way they boss each other about. LJ is most definitely the boss but they both like to throw their weight about.

LJ is talking more and more and Little G is loving teaching her new words. Every time they have a little secret play together they will come running to find me to let me know that she has learnt something new. The latest is ‘nana‘ and she loves that she can say it.

January has meant school has started again so they don’t get to spend as long together as they have enjoyed over the Christmas holidays. It does mean I get to spend one on one time with LJ though, but I definitely need to get more organised and make better use of those couple of hours.

Hopefully next month I will be able to get out and about to get some better photos!
