Why I’m Looking Forward To Britmums

This time next week Britmums will be over! Boo!

I have been looking forward to it ever since I saw the waterfall of tweets in my feed from the event last year. I had only just started blogging but soon realised that it was a big deal! I was so inspired reading about it and seeing the fun that was had that I bought my early bird ticket on the first day!! I knew I had to be there!

I have been to a few events in the last few months and have enjoyed every single one. Each time I get to meet someone new, people I have spoken to online in the amazing blogging community. Each time I meet someone they ask whether I am going to Britmums – it all builds the excitement! Yes, yes I am going!

So what makes Britmums so special?

MEETING BRANDS Ok so lots of events have brands attending but Britmums has lots of major brands, all excited to meet bloggers! I have had some business cards made in preparation, I got mine from instantprint and they are fab! They are also extra special as they are double sided with What Katy Said on one side and Live. Love. Blog on the other!

FAB SPEAKERS Have you seen the schedule? Take a look as there are so amazing talks planned and I for one cannot wait! I love learning and I am going to be making so many notes so I can read them again and again once I am home. Don’t worry, if you aren’t going this year as Live. Love. Blog will be covering various angles from the event.

DRESSING UP Something I have been looking forward to is the opportunity to get dressed up. I have found the perfect dress and have just got to find a pair of wedges and I will be good to go for the Friday. Saturday is a bit more casual so I think jeans and a nice T will do.

HOTEL A night away from being woken up by the kids? Yes please! I am sharing a room with the gorgeous Jenna and cannot wait to have a full nights’ sleep!! Bonus will be a lie in on the Saturday too, bliss!!

FRIENDS This is what I have most been looking forward to. I have made some amazing friends this year and have yet to meet some of them. I just hope I manage to see everyone but I am rubbish with faces so please do come and say hello if you spot me!
