HappyDays Linky #35

Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. I co-host this linky with Jenna (Tiny Footsteps) and we want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciate the little things in life and have happy days.

I am flying solo this week as the gorgeous Jenna is away celebrating being a newly married woman!! Keep an eye out for more on that- I personally cannot wait to see pictures! I’ve seen one of Jasmine but am eagerly awaiting one of the bride herself!!

I want to give a shout out to Vickie from A Pocketful of Dandelions for two reasons. Firstly, her posts are always gorgeous and last week her puppy photos had me smiling so much! But secondly, Vickie helped me out with my blog last weekend when I was tearing my hair out trying to find a solution to a problem. Big hugs Vickie!!

Ok so this week has been a total washout as I have been at work all week. Honestly, I don’t know how people who work full time manage to do anything at all! It was all i could manage to have a shower let alone do anything fun!!

So, seeing as there was no going out, certainly no fun at home and most definitely no time for me, I am going to write a list of things that have made me happy this week:

• My friend became an aunty for the first time. Most beautiful baby too, just perfect!

• I found an old pair of sandals that I had forgotten about.

• I ordered the girls a Trunki each ready for our holiday

• Teaching my class to play rounders in the sunshine

• Not being at home means a tidy house

• Mr F came home early on Thursday and cooked dinner

• Driving home from work with the windows down singing along to the radio.

• Little L saying ‘oooosh’ for shoes.

• Little G choosing to sit next to me at dinner (she always sits next to daddy)

My Happiest Moment

When my friend messaged me to say her sister was in labour I was so excited. We had to wait a good few hours and it looked as though things had slowed right down. Just as we were beginning to worry I got the message to say baby was here. I burst into tears, babies are just wonderful aren’t they?

Next week I would like to..

I just want to have my normal routine back. Working is pants isn’t it? Big hugs to all of you that have to do it all the time. If I win the lottery you can all pack your jobs in**

** I don’t play the lottery so chances are slim. Haha!! xx
