Our Easter Weekend

We have had such a lovely weekend, Little G is finally on the mend and Mr F has been off for the whole 4 days. He has been working past the girls’ bedtime each night and so has been sorely missed. We are lucky that he is normally home by 5pm but with increasing demands at work it looks as though working late will become the norm.

We have been very busy decorating, I have painted Little G’s room – it took 3 coats to cover the pink but it is looking great now. This week’s job is to paint a tree in her new book corner- I am so excited to see the end result!

Mr F has been busy working on our banister again. Honestly it has taken well over 6 months but finally we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I’ll hand it to him, it is going to look amazing when he is finished!

Sunday was Easter of course and so we went to Grandma’s for an Easter egg hunt. I cannot think whether we did one last year but both girls really enjoyed racing around her garden finding all of the eggs. At one point Little G was staring right at one but couldn’t see it- her observation skills are dreadful!
