I am linking up with the lovely Heledd from Running in Lavender for her fab linky ‘My Captured Moment‘. The idea is to link up new or old photos that capture a moment you don’t want to forget!
Really bad quality photo this week, sorry about that- blame early phone cameras! But one of my favourites nonetheless. It was taken in before we were parents, before we were married even. I am not sure of the year exactly but I would guess at 2008 ish by the length of my hair haha!
I sometimes wish we could be young and carefree again, to be able to go out whenever we like and do whatever we want. But then I look at my girls and realise I wouldn’t swap my life for anything, I am happy just as we are. Maybe I just need to let my mum have the girls more often so we can be the two of us every now and then.
Do you get alone time with your other half?

Oh yeah back in those days, when you had no responsibilities and could have weekends away at the drop of a hat! Lovely shot of young love, thanks for linking up xxx

The Mother says - I can so see why this is one of your favourite photos. I love the bright colours in the background. I can tell a photo's age by my hair colour though, not the length! :) #mycapturedmoment

Haha yes I can tell by hair colour for a few years before that but I've been natural for a good few years now x

Love the photo! I know what you mean, I wouldn't swap having my family for anything either but I would love to be able to just go out whenever the mood took us rather than it being months in planning and then likely cancelled due to an ill child, haha! xx #mycapturedmoment

Oh yes, ill children are always the reason- although sometimes I do pretend they are ill to get out of stuff haha!! x
