We don’t let our girls have sweets as a rule. Little G will be allowed a treat on a Friday, but even then that could be a new book rather than a packet of sweets. I am not against sweets but I just think if you give them all the time then besides the obvious dental and dietary implications, they stop being treats. Little G knows that sweets are for treat day only and so doesn’t request them every five minutes of the day!
On Sunday we popped to Grandad’s and he took Little G to the shop at the end of his road to get some sweets. She had been in a mood all day so it was nice to see a smile on her face! She came back with a bag of jelly babies for Little L who has never had sweets before (and a Mars Bar for me, shhhhh) and well, this happened…..
I don’t think she even chewed them!!

Well I think you can definitely say that she has a sweet tooth! Mine only get sweets on a Saturday. It used to be Friday after school but then they stopped eating their tea so we switched. Of course I can't guarantee my teens stick to this rule now but I certainly don't buy them any other day lol xxx
