Our Week Captured #06

This week has been long but has flown by at the same time if that makes sense? I am glad it is over though as it has been a whirlwind of stress and fun!

our week 6

1- BFFs // 2- My slow cooker lasagne // 3- Cheeky stealing rice cakes! // 4- Sleeping with mummy // 5- Toothy pegs causing the problem! // 6- Holding hands // 7- Static on the trampoline // 8- Peter Rabbit, now 9 years old // 9- Standing on her own // 10- Hama bead crazy// 11- Daddy’s Fifa arrived! // 12- The cake! // 13- Party time!

Sunday- Mr F abandoned me all weekend so it was just me and the girls. We went for lunch at my mums and helped her sort out a chest of toys she has been hoarding for years. Somehow we ended bringing half of them home with us!!

Monday- I woke up really early as I had to ring the supply agency. They had rung Friday and left a message so I had been nervous all weekend. They had a job for Thursday but I had to turn it down (first one, goodone!) as I am busy all this week. Next week there is no hiding!

Tuesday- Went to Stevenage to get a few extra presents for G for her birthday next week! Cannot believe she is going to be 3!!!!!!

Wednesday- Had to wait in all day for an Argos delivery. We have got her a bike for her birthday- she has been asking for one for months and it is all she EVER goes on about!

Thursday- I went to Stevenage for the second time this week to get all of the party supplies. I felt absolutely exhausted by the end of it! Thankfully I had left G at home with my mum as she would have been so grouchy if she had been dragged around all afternoon.

Friday – This was the busiest day. Started off with ballet first thing, then it was a mad rush to get ready for the final Netmums meetup with me as the chairmum. I have been running the local group for Hitchin for 2 years now and with starting work and having two children now, I felt it was time to step down. The evening wasn’t even time to relax- I had to make the cake, cupcakes and cook everything ready for the party. Thankfully it was a joint party with a friend’s little boy so we shared the job!

Saturday- Got up early to ice the cupcakes after having 4 hours sleep. Baby L is teething again and decided she would only sleep in my arms. Time for the party and off we went to set up the hall. Honestly I was so nervous but actually it went really well. Everyone loved the cake and the children had a fab time on the bouncy castle! Phew! Little G’s face during the whole party made all the stress worth it!

How has your week been?

I used to be a Chairmum too! Gave it up when Baby started getting too active. Sounds like a busy week. I adore the static photo and that cake is amazing! Thanks so much for linking to #TWTWC xxx
