Our week captured #01

This is my first post in this series, I love looking at other people’s photo collages and so have decided to make this a weekly feature, every Sunday I will link up to two great blog linkys ‘The Week That Was Captured’ and ‘Silent Sunday‘. I already do Silent Sunday so will add that into the collage.

Had an extremely busy week this week, I had the car for a change so took the opportunity to gallivant here there and everywhere! 

1.So the week started off with a lovely catch up with friends at Verulamium Park in St Albans. There is a cute little funfair there and Little G wanted to have a ride on the carousel. I am never any good at taking motion photos so this is as good as I could get! Lovely and sunny until about 5 minutes after this photo when it absolutely chucked it down!

2. I got home to find the postman had been and delivered 3 letters. One for each of us. My best friend is getting married and has asked us all to be a part of her day. I really didn’t expect it so I sat on the floor reading the notes in tears! I have never been a bridesmaid and so am so excited to be a part of her day!

3. My first ever blogging event- a trip to Paradise Wildlife Park (will write about this soon). Got to meet some great bloggers and of course, couldn’t leave without having our photo taken with the park characters. Baby L is looking like ‘what the hell is going on!’

4. We had a lovely day out at Hatfield House Farm. I didn’t even know there was a farm there!! Although the last time I went to the house I didn’t have children so I guess I wouldn’t have noticed it anyway. It was such a bargain, £5 for all 3 of us (girls were free as they are under 3 years). They have tractor rides and a miniature railway- well worth a visit if you are ever in the area!

5. We went to Fairlands Park in Stevenage to meet up with family. 4 of us had babies at the same time and so we meet up regularly for a chat while the kiddies play. It doesn’t seem a minute since they were all babies and now they are all running around! There is a lovely splash park although it was far too cold to go in this time. We had a walk along the lake and fed the ducks.

6. Little G is obsessed with dinosaurs and she was very excited to see this one at the zoo (I know it should have been number 4 but I got confused haha). She knows all the names of the dinosaurs thanks to ‘Harry and his bucketful of dinosaurs’, such an odd child.
