Vita Coco Kids Drink Review

When we were asked to try the new Vita Coco Kids juice drink I was really excited to try it out! We have been using coconut milk in our house for the past few months as Baby L has a dairy allergy, so I was eager to see what coconut water would taste like.

I was also interested to hear about the other health benefits that come with drinking coconut water. Vita Coco boasts that their drinks have less sugar than most leading kids chilled juices as they are made with natural fruit flavourings. Nobody wants rotten teeth so this will always be appealing to parents!

Each drink is also bursting with naturally occurring potassium which helps to keep little ones energised, hydrated and focused. This fact particularly interested me as Little G has Toddler Hypoglycemia and so needs natural sources of ‘good’ energy.

We were sent two flavours: apple & blackcurrant and Mango & pineapple. Little G does not like blackcurrant so I gave that to Baby L in her cup- she loved it.

Little G enjoyed her flavour too. I had a sip, it doesn’t taste of coconut but does have a taste to it. When you are used to other juice drinks and their sickly sweet flavours it takes some getting used to. G drank the whole lot so it got a thumbs up from her!

If you fancy trying these out then you can find them in most supermarkets- I bought some more in Tesco last week. They are handy for G to take in her bag when we go out and about.

We were sent these drinks in return for this review. This did not affect my honest opinion when writing this post.
