  1. Water-based activities

A lot of the UK-based holiday parks have an indoor, or outdoor pool – which is perfect for those of you who love the water! Particularly during peak times, there are typically schedules of what type of activities are going on in the pool. Just make sure you and your husband are prepared with the right gear. Here you can shop for mens swimwear so that you’re all set to have a wonderful time as a family.

These activities can be anything from water aerobics and swimming lessons, to faster lane swimming, and even competitive games! Getting involved in these opportunities is a great way to meet other people in your caravan park and make new friends – especially for the little ones!

  1. Evening entertainment

Again, each park varies, but most offer some form of evening entertainment for those who want to get involved! This is a fantastic way to see something new, cool and interesting each evening.

It’s also a great opportunity to meet up with friends you have made during the day and share some food, drink and laughs! Holidays are all about making memories, and this is the perfect way to do so.

  1. Cosy up in your caravan

Although it’s always great fun to have the day or evening socialising, sometimes you need some time alone, or with your loved ones.

Luckily, you’ve got your very own private space in your caravan to really spend quality time and have some rest if you need it.

Pop on a film, get a blanket and read a book, or just spend the day chatting away and catching up – the options are endless, so take your pick!

  1. BBQ time!

It wouldn’t be a holiday without a BBQ, would it?

So go to the local shop, get your favourite foods and make a feast! This way you’ll be saving some of your pennies as it will be cheaper than a meal out, whilst also enjoying making the food in the process.

A BBQ is the perfect way to end a day of holiday fun. Lots of UK sites have BBQ stations on site, so make sure to check before you buy your ingredients.

  1. Explore the grounds

Last but certainly not least, is taking time to explore the new area you’ll be calling home for your holiday!

It’s easy to get carried away with all the things to do whilst you’re away, but it’s always recommended you take a look around your park and suss out where you’re staying.

The best time to do this is when you first arrive. Get unpacked and then take a stroll around your surroundings and breathe in the fresh air!

Your new holiday adventures are at your fingertips… what are you waiting for?
