I am feeling a huge sense of deja vu in our house at the moment. Every time I look at the tv there is an advert for a toy that I recognise from my own childhood! It is great seeing all of these toys make their way back again when they were dearly loved when I was little. I actually have many of the originals in my mum’s loft- I would probably save myself a fortune if I could be bothered to get them all down!
One of the biggest comebacks this year have been from Bratz, we actually went to their launch earlier this year and ever since Little G has not stopped talking about them! I knew when her birthday arrived that Bratz would be at the top of her wishlist!
We asked a few people to get her some dolls for her birthday and we got her the salon. When she came downstairs on her birthday and opened everything up, her face was a picture. So great when you know you have got them exactly what they wanted isn’t it?
One thing I really like, from a parent perspective, is the fact the whole range is really affordable. Dolls start under 15 pounds which is great compared to others on the market. They also come with a lot of accessories so you don’t have to buy anything separately. The doll above is Yasmin and she comes with the salon so you immediately have everything you need to get playing!
We were also sent a Jade doll, she is from their Study Abroad range and is just beautiful. I want her hat myself!! She came with lots of accessories and a change of clothes too, plus of course all shoes are interchangeable with each other.
She hasn’t stopped playing with them since and I think she will have a few more Bratz items on her Christmas list. If I am honest I want the car!! I always wanted a car haha!!
