Sylvanian Families for Christmas

I cannot tell you how excited for Christmas I am – it cannot come quick enough for me! Why? I get to play with Sylvanians again after 25 years! My mum kept all of my old Sylvanians from my childhood and has had them up in her loft all this time, patiently waiting for the day they would be loved again. This year is the year they will be brought back down as I am planning on giving them to the girls for Christmas.

Did you have any? The badger family were my favourite and I adored my gypsy caravan! Mr Postman was also a favourite as I loved making miniature letters for him to post.

So many of my childhood toys are back in fashion now, it seems every other advert is of something that I used to have as a little girl. For so many years I have been saying that the toys I used to have were much better than the toys of today and it seems the toy manufacturers agree!

Sylvanian Families are one such example and I am so excited to see my girls’ faces on Christmas morning. They are getting the new Cosy Cottage alongside some of my old favourites and I love that it comes with everything you need to get started.

If they are anything like me, they will quickly become obsessed with them and want to collect them all. I am so excited, I loved them as a little girl and now I get to play with them all over again!
