Tie and Dye

Together with your child, pick a design of your choice. Then make the desired pattern on your surface using a marker pen – do large dots on the t-shirt. Large dots are more vibrant in color after adding alcohol. Use alcohol to dissolve and spread the dye, but if the designs are small, drip a few drops of alcohol on the surface using an eye dropper. Place it outside to dry.

Cut a 24-inch long piece of string. Poke holes in the bottom and top points, then tie the string on the top hole and one end of the bottom hole. You can use tape to secure it.
Kids Soap Making Projects
You will need a bar of glycerine soap and a soap colorant of choice. Heat the soap on a microwavable pyrex bowl or a pot on the stove to melt. Add the color of your choice to the melted glycerine till the choice of color is achieved.
Ensure the molds are upright till the soap hardens, then push it out of the molds.
