Inside: Styling outfits for spring with Cotton Traders. Includes press samples.
I love spring – it is the perfect temperature for me as I am not a fan of the cold but don’t really like blistering hot days either. Spring is somewhere in the middle, with sunshine and flowers too.
What this does mean, is a need for layers and versatile pieces of clothing. Because we’ve all been there – one minute it is cold and the next minute the sun has come out and it is hot – begging the question year on year ‘what do I wear?!’
Cotton Traders are my go-to for key pieces – which surprises people when they ask where something is from. But as their new ad campaign says, they are ‘full of surprises‘. So much to choose from and all such great quality – if you haven’t already given them a try then I’d definitely recommend taking a look.

I wear a lot of vest tops during spring and summer because they work well as a base layer for colder days but then also keep me cool on those hotter days that take us all by surprise.

There is a wide selection of colours available but I like to stick to white, navy, and black so that they can mix and match with everything else I own.

I also tend to live in dresses once the last frosts have been and gone. This Broderie dress is my absolute favourite as it is light and airy and goes well with a long cardigan if I need a little extra warmth.
It can also be dressed up or down, adding some heels or keeping it casual with some sandals. When I put it on I feel a million dollars.

This cable jumper is so soft I need to get it in a couple more colours. It is great when you need a thinner knit for cooler spring days or for throwing over your shoulders on a summer evening.
Each of these pieces can be worn in different ways to give you multiple looks throughout the season. All with the great quality that you get from Cotton Traders.
