SlimFast: My Experience

Starting The #SlimFastChallenge

Regular readers will know I am on a mission to lose 3 stone by October. I am going to be a bridesmaid for my best friend and want to look and feel great in my dress. I have been overweight for so many years now and 2015 is the year for change.

slimfastI have already lost 9lbs through sensible eating and running and am already feeling better than I have done in years! I still have a long way to go though so when Slimfast asked me if I would like to take part in their 2 week challenge I was really excited-  I have used their products before and know first hand that you can see great results.

I had reservations though, I didn’t want Little G to question why I won’t be eating my usual breakfasts and eating lunch with them. However, after giving it some thought I realised I don’t have the same as them anyway (I always have Weetabix and they have toast) and lunchtimes I am often at work.

Dinner time is family time in our house and this would be unaffected by the plan so I have accepted the challenge and start today! I am really excited and actually wanted to start as soon as the goodies arrived last week- I waited though so I could tie in with my normal weigh in day.

The plan works like this: 3 snacks throughout the day (either fruit or one of their chocolate bars or bags of crisps), 2 SlimFast shakes or bars (breakfast and lunch), with 1 healthy meal for dinner! Simple!

I will be documenting my meals, any hunger and of course my weight! I hope to lose at least 2lbs a week and if I can make it to my first 1 stone loss that would be amazing! Wish me luck!

    Good luck with the challenge, I really need to do something like this to shift that last stubborn stone!!

      I have been ill since starting so it is on hold at the moment. Would definitely help shift stubborn lbs though x
