Regular readers will know I am on a mission to lose 3 stone by October. I am going to be a bridesmaid for my best friend and want to look and feel great in my dress. I have been overweight for so many years now and 2015 is the year for change.
I have already lost 9lbs through sensible eating and running and am already feeling better than I have done in years! I still have a long way to go though so when Slimfast asked me if I would like to take part in their 2 week challenge I was really excited- I have used their products before and know first hand that you can see great results.
I had reservations though, I didn’t want Little G to question why I won’t be eating my usual breakfasts and eating lunch with them. However, after giving it some thought I realised I don’t have the same as them anyway (I always have Weetabix and they have toast) and lunchtimes I am often at work.
Dinner time is family time in our house and this would be unaffected by the plan so I have accepted the challenge and start today! I am really excited and actually wanted to start as soon as the goodies arrived last week- I waited though so I could tie in with my normal weigh in day.
The plan works like this: 3 snacks throughout the day (either fruit or one of their chocolate bars or bags of crisps), 2 SlimFast shakes or bars (breakfast and lunch), with 1 healthy meal for dinner! Simple!
I will be documenting my meals, any hunger and of course my weight! I hope to lose at least 2lbs a week and if I can make it to my first 1 stone loss that would be amazing! Wish me luck!
