If you love a good brain teaser, then Can You Solve Me? is a puzzle that deserves a spot on your shelf. I recently got my hands on this beautifully designed box of 12 tangram puzzles, and I have to say—it’s an absolute winner!
From the moment we opened the box, curiosity took over. Some are easier than others and some require a lot of patience and perseverance but all of them are brilliant fun!

Each puzzle requires creative problem-solving and a keen eye for spatial reasoning. They also require patience as all is not always what it seems and you have to try many different combinations and arrangements before you might solve it.
The full set contains 12 different tangram puzzles with basic shapes such as a square and rectangle, but also some more elaborate shapes such as a steam train.

One of the things that stood out to me was just how engaging Can You Solve Me? is for both adults and kids.
It’s easy to underestimate how tricky some of these puzzles can be. Even the very first challenge – a square – took me absolutely ages to get my head around. A square should be so simple, and yet I was left scratching my head!
There are 3 levels of difficulty (4 puzzles per level), moving on from the (not so easy) square towards the harder challenges such as the sailing boat and the tie. They seem absolutely impossible at first, but once you get into it, your brain starts to understand how the shapes can fit together and you can make progress quickly.
The kids loved the sense of accomplishment when they would figure one out, and I have to admit, so did I!

You may think you’ve completed one of the shapes and that you’ll be able to repeat the success again – but it is like someone comes along and wipes your memory! I completed the T shape and just 10 minutes later I drew a complete blank as to how I’d done it!
