I couldn’t have thought of any other post to write this week after being a bridesmaid to my very best friend. I have never been a bridesmaid before so when she asked me earlier in the year I was so honoured to have my very first time be for her wedding.
I have known B for around 6 or so years now and I would say we have been best friends for most of that time. You know when you just click with someone? She is that person for me and even though she lives a good 400 miles away we are still close. I do wish there wasn’t such a distance between us though and I really do need to see her more often.
So Thursday was the big day all of the bridal party spent the morning getting ready in a very relaxed manner. Much less stressful than my own wedding 5 years before I can tell you. We had our hair and make-up done and ate croissants overlooking Torquay Bay. It absolutely poured down all morning but for once the weather people got it right when they promised sunshine for the afternoon. By the time the wedding cars arrived the sun was shining and we were ready to go!
I don’t have many photos of the day, I didn’t want to spend precious time taking photos so I just got Mr F to take a couple so I can have a few to help me remember the day. I also have a couple more in my Me and Mine post for this month if you fancy a peek.
The girls were amazing the whole day and everyone said how well they did. LJ spent the whole night dancing in circles and singing along to the music but in the end passed out in my arms. Little G has spent the last few days planning her own wedding and apparently she is going to move down to Devon when she is older to live near B- charming!

Aww how fabulous that you got to be a bridesmaid. I was a bridesmaid for my auntie when I was a young teenager but didn't fully appreciate it at the time, I really want to be one again so I can enjoy it properly, but I don't have any friends close enough to choose me as a bridesmaid, boo! You and the girls looks beautiful xx

Smashing photos, you looked wonderful, and the girls too, all three of you so stunning! Wish I was younger again, and my children were that age once more, I don't think I would sweat the small stuff as much, but would appreciate every minute with my children more, and take more time for fun and less time for dust, love your blog, really enjoy all the comments too, love to you all!xxxx
