Well as I finally sit down to write this, it is pouring with rain. Typical huh? I have to say I am pleased though (sorry sorry!) as it means the temperature has dropped to a manageable level for me. Last night was unbearable, I had to have the fan on all night and that left me feeling a bit bunged up. Pregnancy is so glamorous isn’t it?
Anyway, back to the weekend – how hot was it?!! It was like it was the middle of August, temperatures so high that we had to seek out the shade to make it more bearable. The girls loved it of course, any excuse to be out in the garden is alright by them! We weren’t in our own garden though, we went up to visit Great Grandma – Mr F’s grandma. It was her birthday and so we went to celebrate by having a BBQ.
Unfortunately LJ had woken up in a horrendous mood. It isn’t like her at all so I think she is just run down and in need of rest.
Daddy gave her a bit of a talking to and she perked up.
I even managed to get a smile out of her!
For once it was Little G that was all smiles. That probably sounds bad but she just isn’t the smiliest of children. She adores the outdoors though so she had a gorgeous smile from the moment we arrived until she laid her head on her pillow.
We had such a lovely day catching up with the whole family. I vlogged the whole day, or as much as I could anyway while I was melting away! I made sure I was covered in suncream though – unlike Mr F who is still sporting the gorgeous lobster look haha!!
If you want to take a look, here is my video of the day…

Ah such a sweet video huni. Camping sucks unless it's a festival, then it still sucks but the festival makes up for it! Good luck! xxxx

Hot weather means that you have a real summer, so that's a good thing! Not like here that you never know if there will be a summer. We may get 12 degrees and rain between May and September. However, during the last week we've had brilliant weather! We went from early spring to summer in a few days. I love that! Now it's colder again but I've really enjoyed these days of summer!
