Peppa Pig World: A Fantastic Family Day Out

My girls love Peppa Pig, especially Little G who could quite possibly sit and watch it non stop each and every day. There is something quite mesmerising about that little piggy isn’t there? When she found out there was a Peppa Pig World there was no way we couldn’t take her, so this weekend we made the trip southwards to have a family day out.

The weather wasn’t great unfortunately, no rain but it was very very windy. Thankfully there are a few opportunities to take some shelter. One of these is Madame Gazelle’s school house. Little L was a little unsure as to what was going on- I don’t think she has ever met any lifesized characters before!

The sun did shine in parts and we took full advantage of this and went on as many rides as we could. Being a monday the queues weren’t massive but we still had a 15-20 minute wait for most rides. The girls were great though and happily watched the rides in action until it was their go.

It was actually quite nice to see them together, no toys to distract them or cause arguements. They held hands while we waited and enjoyed each other’s company.

Each ride only lasts a few minutes which is just enough for little ones- plus it means the queues go down quicker! Nothing goes too fast and means the whole family can join in.

I say nothing goes too fast, that is of course except the Cat-O-pillar roller coaster. After lunch we went to have a look outside of the Peppa Pig World section of Paultons Park. Little G was adamant that she wanted to go on the ride and at the right height, who was I to say no? She looked as though she was enjoying it on the way around but told me it was a little bit too fast afterwards – bless her. She had time to wave for a photo so it can’t have been too bad!

DSC_0876Her favourite ride was the carousel, much more her speed! We didn’t have to queue for long at all as there were so many spaces on the ride. Little L and I sat in the carriage and Mr F and Little G pulled us around.

The highlight of the day was getting to meet Peppa and George. I thought the girls might burst when they spotted them! When they got their turn they weren’t quite sure what to do with themselves they were that excited!

DSC_0885Of course I had to get in the photo too!!

We had such a great day, I just wished the weather had been a bit kinder as we were all freezing by the end of the day. They offer 2 day passes and at first I wondered what you could possibly do for 2 whole days but actually there was so much more we could have done! We will definitely be going back!

Here is a little video of our day out!

Have you been to Peppa Pig World?

We were given a family ticket but all thoughts and words are our own.

What a fab day out :) I have a Peppa MAD girl, so we would love to go there someday. It is a bit far for us but we will have to investigate some hotel deals I think.

Yes it is definitely not one for a rainy day. It was pretty cold when we went but their soft play helped us warm up! x
