We have been making pancakes for the last week now (who says we have to stick to the one day of the year??) and on Friday we had fun decorating them with jam and sprinkles. The girls love getting involved in the kitchen, always making and baking different bits and bobs, so I knew they would enjoy drawing pictures on their own pancake.
While the girls drew pictures on theirs, I used a Netflix stencil to decorate my own.
If you want to know what recipe we used, I have a fab dairy and soya free one for you, it honestly makes the tastiest pancakes in the world!
Once we were ready to eat, we settled on the sofa to watch a movie together. Netflix have some great additions this month including Fantastic Mr Fox and Annie. We actually watched Annie a couple of weekends ago – a film we have been dying to watch since it came out in the cinemas as we took part in a project with Sony at the time. So we decided to watch Fantastic Mr Fox and it was really good – have you seen it?
We are going to be eating more pancakes today too and I will probably watch a movie later with Mr F, for a pancake date-night. I am thinking a rom-com, have you got any suggestions? If you are looking for a funny one I can recommend What’s Your Number? with Anna Faris and Chris Evans – I properly laughed out loud watching that the other day. Oh I reckon J would love Fantastic Mr Fox! Loving your decorated pancakes, what a great idea - wishing we had done that too! Oh well, will have to make some more! ;)
