We have been receiving a Degustabox for a few months now and I have to say the Christmas box has been the best yet! So many tasty treats, things I wouldn’t normally find in the supermarket. I don’t know about you but I am always on autopilot when I wander around the shops- I head towards the usual suspects and never venture out of my comfort zone. Having the surprise each month with my Degustabox has taught me that change is good and I am definitely going to try and explore the aisles more from now on.
This month we were given:
Ryvita Thins– Great for dipping!
Ryvita crackers – Enjoy as a replacement to toast and spread on your favourite cheese!
Teisseire– Vanilla and Caramel Gourmet drops for hot drinks
Belvita soft bakes- delicious for breakfast or as a mid-morning snack!
Tuckey’s digestive biscuits- Using original recipes for the digestive.
Butterkist popcorn- everyone’s favourite for movie night!
Branston fruit chutney- perfect for Christmas leftovers!
Nim’s fruit crisps- fruit crisps are a great healthy snack for lunchboxes.
Hartley’s jelly- I will be using mine to make a trifle!
Bourne & Wallis – Pickled onions.
Divine– Dark chocolate, perfect for cakes!
Rekorderlig– Apple cider. My favourite brand of cider actually.
By far, my favourite were the Teisseire Gourmet drops. I love love love hot chocolate and so being able to add a a twist is so much fun. You can add them to anything so if you are a coffee drinker you can turn it into a caramel flavour coffee- perfect for Christmas!!
Second favourite were the Belvita breakfast bakes- yum!! I have been stuck in a cereal rut for so long but for a few days I enjoyed one of the bars and it kept me going through to lunch.
A real treat was the mini bottle of Baileys. I have not had a Baileys in so long but I am going to save that for Christmas eve I think. I have also seen a few dessert ideas so I may make something like that instead! I pinned a great Baileys Mousse to my Dessert Ideas Pinterest board the other day that looks great!
This is my last Degustabox review for now. I have a great discount code for you if you would like to try it for yourself though. Use BLDEG15 and get a £6 discount when you order. Enjoy!
