I Am A MAD Blog Awards Finalist

I cannot believe I just typed that title! Me? Little old me and my corner of the internet!

On Wednesday evening I had a night off for a date night and so it wasn’t until I had a sneaky look at my phone around 10.30pm that I noticed I had tonnes of notifications on FB and Twitter.

I honestly thought it was another round of ‘well done you have been nominated’ tweets but it slowly dawned on me that people were congratulating me! I sat in utter disbelief.

You would think, seeing my name in the best pre school blog category, I would jump up and down and scream. But no, I sat in total silence, unable to comprehend such an achievement! I actually thought there was another round to get through but no, I am an actual finalist!! Crazy!!!

I have actually been to the MAD Blog Awards before (as you can see in my photo with Dr Ranj) – I won a ticket to last year’s awards and had an amazing time. I met so many amazing bloggers! They didn’t know who I was of course as I was super super new to the blogging world. Fast forward by 9 months and here I am, a finalist! I am still in shock and don’t think I will ever snap out of it!

I am so unbelievably happy and wish I could thank each and every one of you in person, your votes mean the absolute world to me! Just to reach the finals is a dream come true but winning would be the icing on the cake. If my name was to be called out I would just burst into tears!
