How to Make A Cuddle Basket

How to Make a Cuddle Basket

I love making gifts for people- the thought behind it is always so special and always well received. Before we had our girls we had extra money to throw around and would always buy each other presents, but now as money is tight it has forced us to re-think our spending. I am glad as it has opened up a whole new world of crafting and homemade gift ideas.

How To Make a Cuddle Basket

For this year’s Valentine’s gift I have made a ‘Cuddle Basket’. The idea is simple- fill a basket (or box & call it a ‘Cuddle Kit’) with lots of items which will encourage a night of cuddles on the sofa! I have been trying to reconnect with Mr F in 2015 and have been enjoying many a date-night over the past month.

Here is what I put in our ‘Cuddle Basket’:

1- A blanket big enough for two

2- A selection of DVDs

3- Champagne

4- Some cute little pillow cases – mine are from Love Pillow Cases*.

5- A love spoon made of chocolate- picked this up while we were at Bluestone Wales, so cute.

6- Some candles to set the mood.

7- A cute little jar of sweets -these were from from The Card Factory.

8- I love this little plaque, also from The Card Factory.

What would you put in your Cuddle Basket?
