Have You Tried BB Cream?

People always tell me I have really good skin, I think it has a lot to do with genetics as my mum has absolutely fantastic skin and looks about 15 years younger than her true age. I cleanse, tone and moisturise every day and this ensures that it is kept looking its best.

However, nobody is perfect and I have a few problem areas that I am always very self conscious about. I have tried many products over the years and I think I may have finally found something that works- BB cream!

bb creamBB cream is not new, despite the hype over the past couple of years. In fact it has been used for years in Asia, they are the world leaders in skincare. For Asian women, it is all about creating a perfect canvas and that is something I want too.

I have been using Ginvera Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream and it is amazing! When you first squeeze it out of the tube it looks quite dark, and actually this is something that has put me off BB creams in the past. However, this adapts to the skin’s pigment within seconds. Amazingly though, it adapts to my skin colour, not to the redness that I am trying to hide!

ginvera meThese photos are completely unedited and as you can see, I have rosacea around my nose. The second photo was taken moments later after I had used the BB cream, you cannot see that I have anything on my skin but the redness is definitely reduced. I then applied my foundation to cover up those dark circles and finished off with a dusting of powder. Job done!

I can definitely recommend Ginvera to anyone looking to create a flawless base, it lasts all day and is not at all heavy on your skin. At £24.95 for 40ml it is not cheap but you don’t need much and so one bottle would last a long time.
