Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. We want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciate the little things in life and have happy days.
I want to give a special thank you to Mummy Bio this week. Every single week she almost reduces me to tears (and some weeks she does!) with her kind words. Last week she managed to get the word fantabulous into a sentence and then went on to say such nice things about the linky. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all the love for the linky. You are all wonderful. Poor Baby Bio has been poorly but Gemma still manages to find the happy in everything she does. An inspiration to us all.
Ok, over to my week…
Out & About
On Monday, as Mr F left for work I shouted to him to remember to take the car seats out of the car. I wanted to go to town to take a cardigan back (had a hole in it). Anyway, did he remember? Did he ‘eck! So, feeling brave I decided to use the buggy board and walk into town. Now, we live up what might as well be a mountain when a toddler is involved. Up until now I have used the double buggy but it is ridiculously heavy now and so it really isn’t an option. We managed it though (with a few little stops for me to recover) and so I know we have that as an option should he forget again. I just kept reminding myself that the exercise was doing me good!!
Fun at Home
I love that it is getting warmer, we have been able to have the back door open a bit this week and the girls have been running in and out. Little L has never been able to fully appreciate the garden as she was so small the last time it was warm enough to be out there. She loves it though and happily fetches her wellies as soon as I open the door!
I’ve been using my Vine account again this week- sign up it is great- records a few seconds and can link to Twitter if you want it to. Here is a few seconds of my girls on the trampoline!
Time for Me
I have been doing a bit of blog soul searching, I have not been loving the posts I have been writing for a while now. However, after a pep talk from the love Lucy from ‘Mrs H’s Favourite Things’ I have found my passion again. I wrote this post on Tuesday, please have a read as I want you all to know how amazing you are.
My Happiest Moment
Happy moments have been hard to come by this week, more illness has struck the house. I really wish it would all bog off!! Anyway, I have started back on the slimming world plan and have completed 2 days of Couch 2 5K- going to do my 3rd day today! I have never been on a run before (besides a treadmill) and so was very nervous- however, I loved it so much and cannot wait for my next run!!
Next week I would like to…
I still haven’t managed to up my water intake, I need to buy a 2 litre bottle and fill it up each morning, that way I will know for sure whether I have drunk enough each day!

It's been so great to have the garden back hasn't it! I've loved just throwing open the door and ushering Bubs out into the sunshine.
Congrats on starting your C25K! I tried last year and pretty much kept repeating the first session over and over on the treadmill as I really don't feel confident with running in public. Maybe I ought to give it another try!

Honestly Vickie, once you are out you just don't care. I am such a self conscious person but I was fine x

Wow, thank you so much for your really kind words about my posts, I don't think I've ever been someone's inspiration before so that was a lovely thing to hear! xx
I love the video of your girlies on the trampoline, it looks like they had the best time and I'm very impressed that Little L stayed upright! Well done on taking the mountainous trek into town and for getting underway with running, you have a lot more energy than me! Thank you for writing that beautiful post on Tuesday, you have such a way with words and I found it so uplifting to read xxx

Aww watching your girls on the trampoline makes me feel a bit guilty for getting rid of ours this summer, but I need more room for our vegetable garden.... that I hope will be happening soon!
Glad you are enjoying your running!!

If ours wasn't sunken into the grass I would probably want to get rid of it too- it takes up so much space! Exciting you are getting a veg garden!! x
