I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who commented on my post last week, I had such a bad week and your support honestly cheered me up. I have been thinking much more positively this week and as a result have had a very happy week 🙂

Out & About

I took all of your advice on board and text a few people and have now made some plans for the next few weeks. I don’t know why I hibernate away but I really need to stop it! This week I met up with a lovely friend, we went for a walk in the countryside. It was super muddy, we were freezing cold, the children moaned the whole time but we totally enjoyed ourselves haha! Was lovely chatting on our way around and we went back to hers afterwards to warm up.

Fun at Home

This doesn’t count as your traditional fun but I certainly enjoyed myself- we have been de-cluttering the house from top to bottom! We had fun tidying G’s room and she was very good at giving toys away which I was surprised about. We have had plenty of music on this week too, something I need to try and do more.

We haven’t had much chance to do much else really as G is at pre-school 3 mornings a week plus I worked Tuesday so not been at home together much although we did have a lovely afternoon playing dress-up. L wasn’t loving hats!

Time for Me

I have done quite well with this, I got my hair cut on Saturday and I am loving it! I feel much better for having it done and will try not to leave it another year until I have it done again!!

My Happiest Moment

I have been having regular date-nights with Mr F and this week we have been reviewing some conversation starter cards. I will let you know when the post goes live as honestly we had the best time using them. Social media makes couples distant and I am terrible for spending an evening ignoring him in favour of chatting on FB or Twitter. The cards are great though and we talked for hours!

Next week I would like to…

We are very fortunate to be going to Bluestone Wales next week- it is going to be our very first family holiday and I am beyond excited! So I want to enjoy every second and not think too much about posts etc… I have scheduled a few for the week so it won’t be cobwebs on the blog but I won’t be too active on linkies or other bits and bobs.
