HappyDays #48

I am off galavanting again this weekend! This time I am off to Funfest with the girls. I know a couple of you are going to be there so please come and say hello if you spot me. I am dreadful with faces when it comes to this blogging malarkey as nobody ever looks like their profile picture do they?

I am not entirely sure where the week has gone! One minute it seems as though the weekend will never arrive and then before I can blink it is here!! We haven’t really done much to be honest as it has been all about getting used to new routines and trying to figure out when best to do things- not sure I have the answer yet!

I have felt a bit panicked really, constantly looking at the clock to see if it is time to go to school or time to go pick her up again. I can officially say half days suck! Definitely not enough time to do anything and too much walking backwards and forwards- a mile each way. Good news is I have lost weight in just one week- I will be a stick by Christmas haha!!

Little G has found the whole week exhausting, she has been falling asleep on the sofa while waiting for me to cook dinner poor lamb. It has meant nice early bedtimes though which is nice as I get to spend more time with Mr F. I have written about my first week at school – from a mum’s perspective, it has been a nerve wracking, a time I was dreading but has turned out to be ok so far.

Thursday was my sister’s birthday. There are 8 years between us but each year we seem to get closer in age. She lives right up the road from me which is awesome but she works so many hours I barely see her. Really must try and rectify that and not take her for granted so much.

LJ is the image of my sister, was like a miniature version of her running around the garden. Don’t you just adore the ruffles on her skirt? I want one for myself!!!! It was really nice spending time as a family although I could see my sister was hurting that our dad wasn’t there. We haven’t heard from him in a year now, doubt we will again really. His loss.

I think that is it really besides a quick trip to town to get H&M to take a tag off a top. So annoying when that happens isn’t it? While I was there I couldn’t help but treat myself to a couple more things. I am going to be sharing my autumn fashion next week, I am loving my wardrobe right now! Although I am still getting it wrong most days- never know whether to dress for summer or winter!!
