HappyDays #45

Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. The idea of this linky is to inspire others to make the best out of every day, whether that be at home, out and about at the park or away on holiday. Jenna and I want everyone to see the happy in every day!

I’m back! Am glad to be writing my round-up again, I really do enjoy reflecting on the week even if I fail to remember it all half the time!! Had such a lovely anniversary but am actually saving the photos for the end of the month for my Me & Mine post so you will have to wait. (That makes them sound more exciting than they are haha!!).

So what have we been up to then?

I feel like I’ve barely been home the past two weeks actually and am looking forward to term starting to get a bit of normality and routine again! I am absolutely exhausted! The main reason being we have been commuting into London every other day- how do commuters do it day in day out?? So tiring sitting there- bit like babies falling asleep in the car!

So last weekend we went to a friend’s wedding, it was so lovely. I have written all about it already so won’t ramble on again. Here is my favourite photo though..

Monday and Tuesday were spent recovering from the wedding- not that I drank but I was dancing until late and I am far too old to be staying out and about that late! I think we went to town one day but other than that we did nothing much at all!

Wednesday was the first of our trips to London and we met up with Aby and Baby to attend an event hosted by Lindex to showcase their new autumn/winter collection.

Their clothes are really gorgeous and we are going to be working with them in the next month or so – so watch this space!

Carnaby Street

After we had made a mental wishlist for all of their fab clothes we set off to explore a bit of London. First stop was Carnaby Street. It is a part of London I have never been to, not sure why really but I would definitely go back. Reminded me of the North Lanes in Brighton I think and I spent my youth there!

We then went to Liberty, what a beautiful old building!! Not designed for pushchairs but I will definitely go back there if I am in London on my own. I would love for a local to take me around London actually, show me all of the really beautiful places to visit!

Thursday was back to London once again for a really great event hosted by Actimel. They wanted to help us get ready for school, helping us to feel calm and relaxed. We spent the morning doing yoga- so much fun!

As you can see Aby and Baby were in town too!

I am going to be sharing a little more about the techniques they taught in the next few weeks, so easy for little ones. Little G also spent the morning determined to learn how to hula hoop- and she did it!! Definitely her father’s daughter!!

We were also given the opportunity to make fruit smoothies, something I really want to get into but I need to buy a recipe book first- anyone have any recommendations? We used their new range of Actimel for kids drinks as the base- delicious by the way!

Friday we didn’t have anything planned so took a spontaneous trip to the local sunflower fields! I am going to do a separate post for this I think as I have a fair few photos but here is a little taster..

Time for Me

I have downloaded the Feedly app as recommended by Aby (You Baby Me Mummy) and I have spent my days adding various blogs to it so I can easily keep up with commenting. So much better than Bloglovin’ or any others. So I have spent lots of time quietly reading to myself of an evening rather than stooped over my laptop writing my own blog- so much happier about that!

Wow love that shot from your friend's wedding and looks like you've been busy having fun in London. I adore Liberty, it's one of my all time favourite stores in London, I could while away the day in there and the flowers outside, an instagrammer's dream! Love the shots with your gorgeous daughter too, blogging opens up so much excitement for them too x

Cor blimey - you did have a busy week.

The dresses the girls wore at your friends wedding are beautiful and that's a lovely shot of them running together too. :) xx

Sounds like a fab week, I love London, we don't go often enough. I love the idea of taking the kids on my own but I don't know if I'm brave enough with the buggy and tubes etc. x

It is awful on the tubes, not going to lie. I avoid them as much as I can x
