Happy Days: A Week Of Decorating and Tidying

Hello!

This week has completely flown by! I thought that being half term and not having to stick to a schedule would mean time wouldn’t fly by as much as normal. However, we have been so so busy all week that it is the end of half term already! Crazy!

So what has brought me joy this week?

• Mr F had the whole week off so we could finish off those niggly little jobs around the house that never get done. It was so nice having him home for so long.

• Having a surprise Valentine’s present from Mr F. We had agreed no gifts but he got me something anyway- oops!

• Having Little G home for the week, I do love half terms.

• A really lovely trip to the circus, neither Mr F or the girls had ever been so it was great to see their faces!

• Cleaning the fridge from top to bottom- it is sparkly in there now!

• A mid-week fry up for breakfast! Yum!!

• Ordering carpet for our stairs! We have gone for a runner and I am so excited to see it in place. Not long as it is being fitted on the 1st of March! Yippee!!

• A very successful trip to IKEA (somewhere else Mr F had never been). It is just my favourite place to go (after only discovering it last summer!!) and we bought a great storage system for the toy room plus a few other bits and bobs.

• Spending a good few hours sorting out toys and putting them in the new unit- everywhere is looking so tidy!

• Walking in the front door and being greeted by a tidy house- it is completely novel to me, long may it last!
