Thank goodness for weekends!
Phew! I am writing this very late and my eyes are almost closing I am so exhausted!! I have been doing a bit of diy, putting bunk beds together and moving furniture around. Probably not the thing to be doing in my condition but it has to be done!
So what’s been making me smile this week?
– Having a really lovely time at Blognix last weekend. I met up with lovely bloggers and made some new friends.
– Working in a really lovely school with some incredibly bright children. They were so well behaved- so nice to be able to teach and not manage for a change.
– It was my birthday on Thursday!! I had so many lovely messages wishing me a happy birthday- really made me feel loved.
– McDonalds. Mmmmmmmm…..
– Treating myself to some maternity clothes with some birthday vouchers. New Look have some lovely things in this season.
– My new gel nail kit from Mr F for my birthday. I never have time to do my nails so gels will mean I no longer walk around with chipped nails. Hurrah!
– Having a lovely meal out with my little family. We always order Indian takeaway but never think to go out to have it. Our local restaurant is really lovely and it turned into a real event rather than a bite to eat.
– LJ calling her sister ‘boy’ rather than by her name. I have absolutely no idea why she has started this as her very first word was ‘Little G’. It reminds me of Grandad Tumble calling Mr Tumble The Boy. So funny!
– The excitement in the girls’ eyes knowing they were at last going to share a room. They had been on at me for ages, even before they knew about the baby, so being able to tuck them into their new bunk beds tonight was just great. Fingers crossed they sleep ok!
My brain is absolute mush after 3 hours of using an Allen key so I actually cannot remember anything else I have done this week!
I hope you have had a good week!

Sounds like a lovely week but I must say I really don't envy your 3 hour allen key session! I feel so inspired by everyone's gorgeous nails that I keep seeing but mine always look like I did them when I was squiffy. Maybe gel is my best bet!
