Happy Days: An Amazing Scan, A Fun Day Out and An Enormous Belgian Bun

Hello!!

I’m not very well at the moment, I have an infection and I unfortunately my doctors closed at lunchtime before I could pick up my prescription. I’ve been feeling so tired and just put it down to general pregnancy-ness but turns out I need a little helping hand from the doctors. Despite feeling a little rough, we have had the best week ever!

What has made me so happy?

– Finding out that baby is absolutely fine after a 7 hour stay in A&E on Monday.

– Seeing our baby in the most amazing in depth 20 week scan on Tuesday.

– All the lovely comments we have received after revealing that we are having a baby boy. I am still in shock by the way, I don’t think it is going to sink in until he is here!

– Getting some blue bits for baby. I know some people don’t like dressing their kids in ‘gender specific’ colours but do you know what? I love blue!

– Scoffing the biggest Belgian bun I have ever seen! I said to the woman in the shop that I couldn’t possibly choose that… and then I did! Haha!!

– A really amazing day out in London with my friend and her 2 little ones. Our kids are such good friends, so nice to be able to do fun things together. We went to Kidzania and I am telling you – best. place. ever! I will be writing about it soon so keep an eye out!

– Going round for a play-date at Little G’s friend’s house. She hasn’t been in school for so long now so she has been sorely missed. We have a couple of others arranged for next week too so that will be lovely for her.

– Getting to the end of series 1 of Prison Break and starting series 2. Just love it!
