Guests Of Hamleys

London is fast becoming my favourite place to be, I have been more times this year than I have the rest of my life! I have even considered buying one of those contactless ticket things although I have no idea how they work so will have to find time to research that!

Last Friday was my 5th wedding anniversary but before I could go and celebrate I hopped on a train with Little G to go to Hamleys for a V.I.P. experience- very exciting!! It was an early start though so we were a little bleary eyed as we sat on the train. We managed to catch my sister in law on her way to work though so had a lovely catch up with her on the way into London.

We arrived to a small crowd, all waiting for the star of the day- Pixie Lott!

We were let into the store, which was closed to the general public for the morning and had a quick photo just the two of us while we waited for Pixie to arrive.

Of course when she did arrive I couldn’t miss the opportunity to get a sneaky photo with her!

The whole event was organised for Pixie to introduce her new range of dolls by Steffi Love which are themed around princesses, fairies and mermaids. Each child was given their very own Enchanted Fairy Steffi Love doll too which was lovely!

We were then sent upstairs to have a proper meet and greet with Pixie and to our doll signed! Little G was so excited, she loves dolls and make believe and Pixie was a bit like a life-sized doll herself!

Once we had finished seeing Pixie it was time to take advantage of having the store to ourselves! We met Hamley Bear and went on a treasure hunt around the store. It was really nice being able to take a proper look around the store without the normal crowds.

Something that had us both very excited was being able to raid the pick n mix! it took a fair while for G to pick out everything she wanted – such a great selection! Of course I had to help myself to a tub too!

We had such a lovely day, heading home to carry on with our special day with Mr F and LJ. I will be writing about that soon! But for now, a big thank you to Hamleys – Little G hasn’t stopped playing with her Steffi Love doll since!
