If your child has allergies then you will know how difficult life can be. We are living with dairy, soya and gluten allergies in our house and it has become a big part of our lives. Wherever we go and whatever we do, LJ’s allergies are at the forefront of my mind. It is easier at home as I only buy things she can eat and ingredient I know will be fine to use in a recipe. But what if you are in a rush? What if you are having one of those days when you wish you could just bung something in the oven and have something ready in a flash?
Kirsty’s have just launched their new Kids’ Kitchen range and we have been testing them out! Overall we are giving them a big thumbs up! There is a great variety of flavours and dishes from all over the world, the girls had their favourites and those that they weren’t so keen on, but I tasted them all and they were all great.
All of the dishes are dairy, gluten, wheat and nut free which is great! Most are soya and egg free too but not all so check the packets. So great to have them in the fridge for those days when you just don’t have the time for anything else.
Their favourite’s were the beef lasagne and the sausage casserole. My favourite was the fish pie although I didn’t get to try much of anything as they both gobbled them up before I got a look in! The portion sizes are just right too, they were both satisfied at the end of each meal time so no whining for snacks after!
If you are looking for a quick and easy solution for dinner and don’t want to worry about looking at the packets then these are great!
