Ok so it is a little bit early to be thinking about Halloween, but the shops have everything out already haven’t they? They have Christmas things out too which is madness (but exciting!!). As part of our Baker Ross work we bring you all their latest craft items and so today we are showcasing some of their Halloween packs! The thing I love about Baker Ross is the fact you don’t need to use your imagination too much, everything you need is supplied and so you can enjoy the activity with little stress!
The first thing we have to show you is the stained glass lantern kit which comprises of 4 pre-cut lanterns and everything you need to put them together (although you need your own glue). We had great fun putting them together and even LJ had a good go at making hers!
I had to help fold and stick but to me that just means I get involved more so not a problem at all.
I am going to put ours away safe until Halloween when we will display them around the living room! We are going to put our pretend tea lights in them- they will look great!
So the second thing we were sent were some polystyrene pumpkins. Now really all she wanted to do was paint them orange so I used the opportunity to reinforce colour mixing. She enjoyed adding the yellow to the red and checking to see if it was the right shade for a pumpkin.
We are going to have them along our window sill for Halloween, they will look cute!
We are going to be doing a few more Halloween crafts over the next few weeks I am sure, such a fun time of year I think! Little G has also asked for a party so we may be using the crafts to decorate the house for guests too! And of course we will be carving a pumpkin, need to get thinking on designs!

I love halloween. Even though we have so many decorations I am still looking every year. This year is great because Matthew is finally at an age where I can do crafts with him. I have some things in my mind already.
