Ok who is excited for Christmas? Me me me me!! The music in the shops and seeing all of the gifts everywhere is making me feel so happy and I have finally got my act together to sort out Christmas in my house. I always struggle to think of gifts for my two and when I speak to other mums they always say the same. Especially for second children who inherit toys from the first born- what on earth do you buy? So here are a few ideas for you- hopefully they will help you with your Christmas shopping!
Minions Colouring Set
Minions are huge this year aren’t they? My girls both love drawing and the Despicable Me Jumbo Art Set is a great gift- it is the perfect gift for any age really.
Available at Lloyds Pharmacy for £7.99
Fudge Making Kit
When I think of Christmas I think of fudge, don’t you? I have never made my own properly- only ever doing it the cheats way using the slow cooker. The kids kit from Fudge Kitchen is so much fun and even includes a thermometer so it can be a mini science lesson too!
Available from the Fudge Kitchen website for £25
Star Projector
Little G is obsessed with stars and so this really stood out as a fab gift for her. If you have a child who needs a night light then why not help them drift off to a starlit sky? It is also perfect if you are looking for secret santa ideas too!
Available from Qwerkity for £14.99
Marvins iMagic Set
Children love using apps these days and I love games that include a mix of real life too. I loved Marvin’s Magic as a child, it was always my favourite stand in Hamleys and still is today. This set will teach kids a few tricks and gets technology involved too, really fun.
Available from the Marvin’s Magic site for £24.99
Rocking Horse
Oh my goodness my girls love their rocking horse so much, it is a classic toy that can be handed down the generations. This rocking horse from Bentley is so well made and will be a piece to treasure for many years.
Available from Buydirect4u for £39.99
Art of Children’s Conversation Game
We have the game for couples and really love playing it on date nights when we feel like we need to ditch the technology. I was really excited to try the one for kids as I am sure you know what it is like- you ask the kids what they did at school and they shrug their shoulders. This aims to get them talking and make it fun!
All titles in The Art of Conversation range are available now from all good bookshops and online retailers, priced £9.98
Make Your Own Chocolate Bar
I love getting the kids involved in the kitchen and so what could be more fun than making your own chocolate bar? The kit comes with everything you need to make your own bar and is really simple to do!
Available from Amazon for £5.99
Pass The Pud
I love new games for Christmas and this Pass the Pud game from Gibsons is just perfect for the whole family. Try and answer as many questions as you can before the burp!
Available from Amazon for £12.99
Christmas jumpers
One of my favourite traditions for Christmas is buying new Christmas jumpers for everybody. The girls have already worn theirs and I adore them! Ours are from JoJo Maman Bebe and are so soft I wish they could wear them past the Christmas season. Thankfully I chose one size up so they will be able to wear them again next year!
Lots of designs are available from JoJo Maman Bebe for £22
Stockings
Now what are you going to put all of the presents in? We hang ours up each year and up until now the girls have had mismatching stockings. However, this year they will have their very own personalised stockings- I cannot wait to put them up!
Available from Izabela Peters for £16.99
Personalised Sacks
So what if you need something a little bigger? These sacks are really lovely and can fit larger items that would not fit in a stocking. Santa might want to use these and leave them under the tree.
Available from Getting Personal for £19.99
So there we have it, hopefully something has caught your eye and will help you get the perfect gift for your little one.
