Creating a Flawless Base

You may have noticed I am a bit obsessed with skincare, I have been banging on about looking after your skin for a while now. It is so important to cleanse, tone and moisturise every single day, doing so will ensure your skin remains firm for many years to come.

Recently I have stepped it up a gear! I have started using the Braun Facial Epilator and Cleansing Brush. Now, thankfully I do not have any facial hair so will not need to use the epilator attachment- although I know some people use it for eyebrows. Epilation can be painful when you first start but once your skin adjusts to the technique it is a great way to remove unwanted hair- much more effective than waxing or plucking. I have epilated my legs for years and I love it!

So, I have been using the cleansing brush attachment every day. It is so soft and easy to use, the small circular motion works deep into your pores, exfoliating the skin to leave a smooth finish ready to apply your makeup.

So how have I found it?

I have been using the brush every day as part of my morning routine and I absolutely love it! They say it is 6x more effective than manual cleansing and I totally agree. My skin feels smoother and I always feel like I have had a full facial, with my pores feeling clear and refreshed.

What I really like about it is the fact you can use it within your normal cleansing routine. I already have favourite products that I like to use and this does not interfere with the process- it enhances it! All I am swapping are my cotton wool pads for the brush, which actually makes my job easier. We all want a quicker morning routine don’t we?
