Slowly but surely, our garden is finally taking shape. I mean I’m clearly not one to rush as I have been banging on about our garden makeover for a couple of years now! But I think this summer is going to be the summer that we truly get to enjoy the space.
The garden has always been a space for the children, with swings, slides and a trampoline to keep them busy. They’ve even got their own teepee at the back but we had nothing for us grown-ups!
I did treat myself to a nice patio set last year but there was something missing – a place to chill out while the kids play.
You have probably seen my new space over on Instagram Stories – so many people asked me about it! Isn’t it amazing? It is a Frampton Single Cocoon seat from Bramblecrest – such a cool looking piece!
Honestly, I don’t think I have ever loved a piece of furniture so much! (You know you’re a grown-up when you love furniture, don’t you?).
It is such a cosy space and actually, I rarely sit as poised as this – most of the time I am curled up inside reading a book.
It comes with these cushions and they are really comfy. The seat itself is made from an all-weather weave so I won’t have to worry about it during the winter months – just as well as there is absolutely no space left in my shed!
Apparently, we are due to have the hottest summer in 12 years – I will be enjoying every second out in the garden and this is exactly where you’ll find me!
If you have space, there is also a double seat option! Love it! Everything can be found on the Hayes Garden World website.
We were gifted this seat in return for a feature on my blog.

June 14, 2018 at 12:44 amI love these cocoon seats. This year I need to sand [again] down our old picnic table and chairs, paint them [last time j wanted it the rammed for 2 weeks]. And get a comfy seat or something, plus some tubs. It’s still like a paddock.
