Welcome to HappyDays! The idea of this linky is to inspire others to make the best out of every day, to see the happy in the little things. As no matter what, there is always something good in every single day- we just need to take the time to see it. Share your happy posts, Sian and I love to read them!
Ah so here I am, Friday night once again and noooooo baby. I was convinced with all the contractions I’ve been having that he would be here by now. But no, still keeping me waiting. I have felt a bit funny all day today though so who knows what tomorrow will bring.
This week hasn’t been as awful as last week, the contractions all died down and I was able to sleep (as well as you can sleep while 9 months pregnant) so haven’t felt so much of a zombie. I also decided enough was enough and I wasn’t going to sit around and wait for him to come. There is only a week left until G starts school so I want to make the most out of every day.
So what has made me happy this week?
– Getting more sleep.
– Having my out of office email on. Amazing to be able to switch off from everything!
– Ticking off the last few jobs on my to-do list. There were certain things that were niggling away at me but they are now done and I can truly say I am stress free!
– Having family round for the day. I am really lucky that a few of Mr F’s cousins had babies at the same time as I had Little G and so we have been able to meet up over the last 5 years, watching our babies (and families) grow.
– Blackberry picking. My gorgeous friend invited us to hers to pick blackberries. It was such a lovely morning and the girls loved it! LJ picked the most, which surprised me as normally it is her sister that is the competitive one.
– Making and eating blackberry crumble. Yum!! Might go and get some more in a minute actually….
– Publishing a blog survey. I would love it if you completed it too – it is all anonymous and it will help me to improve this here space of mine! This is the link.
My brain is a little frazzled so can’t think of anything else for now. If I do have baby between now and next Saturday then Sian will be in charge and I will be back soon. 🙂

I was really hoping not to see a Happy days from you this week (obviously meant in the nicest way possible) You have obviously made baby very comfy. Can't wait to hear of his arrival. x

I thought we wouldn't be seeing a Happy Days from you this week - hope you have a baby in your arms this time next week! I can't believe it's blackberry season already! But hooray from crumbles, my favourite! Thanks for still finding the time and energy to host!
